ASPIC 2025 (7th Advanced Structural and Peripheral Intervention Course) was organised by the Interventional Cardiology Society in Istanbul on 4–5 December 2025. Scientific sessions were held at the Renaissance Polat Istanbul Hotel (Yesilkoy); live cases were performed at Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa Institute of Cardiology Hospital.
Prof. Dr. Hakan Uçar took part in the scientific sessions and panel. The main topics were structural heart disease, advanced peripheral intervention and new treatment technologies.
About the course
The seventh edition brought structural intervention and endovascular peripheral intervention into one programme. Live cases were transmitted to the hall and discussed in the sessions.
Seven complex procedures were performed live during the course. Documented titles include three TAVI cases, one carotid artery stenting, and EVAR with aorto-iliac intervention. The announced programme also included MitraClip, TricValve, ASD and appendage closure and further peripheral cases; titles that are not documented here are not invented.
